FAQs

Is my Ultra Europe ticket included in the Yacht Week price?

Yes. Croatia Ultra runs over two weeks in July and both include VIP festival access. Week 27 ends in Split with a one-day Ultra Europe VIP pass for the Friday. Week 28 starts in Split with a two-day VIP pass for Saturday and Sunday. Extra festival days can be added to either week after booking, from your account page. Festival tickets are non-refundable.

Where is Ultra Europe held?

Park Mladeži in Split. Yacht Week shuttle buses run between the marina and the festival.

How do I get between my yacht and the festival?

Yacht Week runs shuttle buses between the marina and Park Mladeži at set times, arranged through your skipper, and they run until late. The full timetable is in the Yacht Week app at the start of the week. Outside those times you arrange your own transport.

Can I add extra festival days?

Yes. Week 28 guests can add the Friday; week 27 guests can add Saturday and Sunday. Book them from your account page after booking, where prices are shown, up to two weeks before your trip. If you're adding the Friday before week 28 starts, you'll need to arrange your own accommodation for that night. Week 27 guests can sleep on board after the Friday festival and check out by 8am Saturday.

Can I cancel/sell my Ultra ticket?

No, you cannot cancel Ultra tickets as these are non-refundable. For more information, please read our Terms and Conditions. If you want to sell the ticket once you have picked it up on-site, it is totally up to you.

What music is on the Ultra route?

EDM, house and techno, at Ultra Europe and across the Yacht Week programme that week. Ultra Europe publishes its own line-up ahead of the festival on its website.

How is Ultra different from Croatia Original?

Same islands, plus the festival. Croatia Original is a round trip from the Trogir area with the standard Yacht Week programme. Ultra bookends the sailing with Ultra Europe in Split: either finishing there on Friday (week 27) or starting there with two festival nights (week 28), with VIP passes included.

Which airport do I fly into for Croatia Ultra, and how do I get to the marina?

Split Airport (SPU). Week 27 departs from the Trogir area, 10 to 30 minutes by taxi depending on the marina; week 28 departs from Split, about 30 minutes and around €45 by taxi, or the Croatia Airlines shuttle to the Riva (about €5) then a short cab. Your marina is confirmed two weeks before departure.

Do I need sailing experience for Croatia Ultra?

No. Every yacht comes with a professional skipper who handles all the sailing, mooring and anchoring. Join in during the regatta if you want to, or don't touch a rope all week.

What's included in the price of Croatia Ultra, and what's extra?

Included: seven nights on your yacht, a professional skipper, your Ultra Europe VIP pass (one day on week 27, two days on week 28), all Yacht Week events and parties, DJs, festival shuttles, final cleaning, linen and towels, and the dinghy. All cabin categories except Classic Monohull also include a host and on-board food (six breakfasts, six lunches, two dinners).

Extra: flights and airport transfer, extra festival days, food and drink on the yacht (unless you're on a cabin booking with a host), the cash kitty your skipper collects on day one (port fees, fuel, water, shore power, water taxis and the refundable deposit, with anything unspent returned), eating and drinking out, dinners for your skipper and host, crew tips, and optional activities like the Bol ATV tour.

Can I book Croatia Ultra on my own or as a pair?

Yes. Book a cabin and you'll join a yacht of six to eight guests with an even gender ratio. You'll meet your yachtmates, skipper and host in the Yacht Week app about two weeks before departure. Groups of five or more usually book a full yacht.

When does Croatia Ultra run?

Two consecutive weeks in July, weeks 27 and 28, timed around Ultra Europe. Prices by week are shown on the route page.

Is food included on Croatia Ultra?

Not always. Cabin bookings in every category except Classic Monohull include a host who cooks six breakfasts, six lunches and two dinners, with the food included. Classic Monohull cabins and full yacht bookings don't include food. Full yacht bookings can add a host, but the host's fee doesn't cover the food, so you'll still do the supermarket shop near the marina.

What time is check-in and check-out on Croatia Ultra?

Boarding is from 4pm Saturday; your skipper confirms the exact time and meeting point in the Yacht Week app. Complete online check-in before you travel or you may be refused boarding. The week ends Friday: on week 27 that's at the festival in Split, on week 28 the fleet returns around 3 to 4pm. Either way you can sleep on board Friday night and must leave by 8am Saturday.
