Kotor

First stop on our Montenegro route is this postcard-perfect fortified town. A fairytale destination, Kotor still looks the same as it did in the 17th century, with a beautifully preserved assortment of winding streets and charming churches. If you're feeling active, climb the 1355 steps to the San Giovanni Fortress for a spectacular view of the Old Town (and an iconically Instagrammable moment). It's no wonder that this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kotor Fjord

Set sail onto the beautiful Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor) where you'll be surrounded by the jaw-dropping sight of the Black Mountains. Often referred to as Europe's southernmost 'fjord', it's actually a spectacularly submerged valley - and the perfect setting for a circle raft party (our signature yacht experience). Complete with DJs, can you imagine a more incredible setting to celebrate the start of your Montenegro holiday?

Almara Beach Club

The best thing about cruising around the Adriatic on a yacht is that you can easily pull up at the best beaches, such as the Almara. Located in the small town of Oblatno, this luxe seafront beach club is blessed with gorgeous views over the bay, so you can relax on one of the many sun loungers or baldachins and watch the sunset. They also have an exclusive cocktail bar and restaurant, making it the perfect setting for our Tropical Retro Party, complete with fruity drinks and excellent tunes.

Budva

As one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Sea, Budva is an unmissable place to visit in Montenegro. The charm of the medieval Old Town is matched by the excellent summer nightlife and 21km of sandy beaches to enjoy. Whether you fancy a day spent shopping and dining out, or just want to chill with views of the Riviera and St. Nicola Island, you can really set your own pace here.

Sveti Stefan

Just around from Budva is the fortified island village of Sveti Stefan, renowned for being Montenegro’s most photographed location. Connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway, this tiny island is covered in beautiful 15th-century stone villas, built into the dramatic cliff edges. While the island itself is now part of a private resort, it is a thing of beauty to see and you can always pair your trip with dinner at Nobu on the peninsula.

Secluded bays and beaches

Of course, hidden along the Adriatic coastline is a whole host of secret spots to spend an afternoon swimming and relaxing on your own. Away from the crowds of the cities and touristy hot spots, your summer will reach peak vibes as you slide into the crystal blue waters in one of Montenegro's many hidden bays. Ribarsko Selo

Meaning 'Fisherman's Village', Ribarsko Selo in Herceg Novi on the Luštica Peninsula is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon recharging. You'll feel like you're #livingyourbestlife as you watch the sun kiss the horizon while relaxing with a cocktail in one of their swing chairs or seafront pod loungers. All the food they serve is organic and, as the name suggests, the fish is bought in fresh every day by local fishermen, making it a spectacular spot for a sunset dinner.

Porto Montenegro Yacht Club

We save the best till last with this jaw-dropping destination. The incredible Porto Montenegro is the country's style capital, often compared to Monaco with its eye-popping superyachts and luxe resorts. The Porto Montenegro Yacht Club is our favourite, with its 64m infinity pool, seemingly endless choice of day beds and poolside bar/restaurant. It's the perfect setting for our Riviera Chic Party - a classy, 50s-inspired soirée to round off one incredible week.
